Legend has it that, in ancient times, three nymphs traveled the world picking the most beautiful fruits on Earth.
Arriving in Sicily, they were so captivated by the beauty of the place that they scattered all the booty acquired during their travels into the sea, precisely in three points of the island.
The waters that received the gifts of the nymphs opened, letting emerge three mountains and all the land that connected them. This is how Sicily was born with its particular triangle shape.
